ClickNL sessie: Transforming Mindsets
This event is during The Circular Textile Days
How can companies and consumers embrace the transition to circular business models?
We will answer these, and many other questions, in our inspiring session where four experts share their insights and experiences on the necessary behavioral changes for embracing circularity in textiles. This side event includes four TED-style talks of approximately 15 minutes per speaker, followed by an interactive moment between visitors and speakers.
- Valerie Boiten (Ellen MacArthur Foundation) will outline the challenges and opportunities in the circular textile industry, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between consumers and businesses.
- Marianne van Leeuwen (Decathlon) will explain how Decathlon is taking the first steps towards a circular business model and the innovative strategies they are implementing.
- Anne-Laure Lambert (Patagonia) will share valuable lessons and practical examples from their years of experience with circular initiatives.
- Krispijn Faddegon (HVA) will provide insights into consumer behavior, highlighting the challenges and how behavioral change can support a circular economy, referencing a study conducted in Almere two years ago.
- Bianca Streng will moderate a lively discussion where you can participate, ask questions, and exchange ideas with the speakers.
After the side-event the talk continues at the associate square at 12:30 PM in a round table conversation.
